Favorite Industrial Songs #9 - "Mindphaser"

Occasionally, my theme for a music countdown focuses on a specific genre, such as synth pop or goth. For this particular series, I'm doing my Favorite Industrial Songs, and we are at #9 - "Mindphaser," by Front Line Assembly (FLA.)
From their 1992 album, Tactical Neural Implant, "Mindphaser" is, quite frankly, awesome. It's so awesome that COMA Music Magazine ranked it as the sixth best industrial song ever (out of 101.) It is the only Front Line Assembly video to receive regular play on MTV.
The video for "Mindphaser" is heavy on footage from the Japanese film Gunhed (a science fiction movie. Rather than attempting to fit the footage to the song, however, FLA's Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber wrote the song to fit the footage.) The pair were allowed to use Gunhed free of charge, provided the movie's producers were allowed to use any changes the band made during the process.
I've written about Leeb and Fulber on MyLot a few times, but always about their other project, Delirium (I met both after a Delerium show. Very nice guys.) It's nice to finally get to write about them in Front Line Assembly.

I've seen FLA perform this live!
I got to meet Bill Leeb in a VIP meet & greet before the show too. I was a little starstruck.

@spiderdust - That tour with Conjure One is the one that I saw. And Kristy Thirsk did the vocals for Delirium. It was great.

@teamfreak16 I'd like to see Delerium, just haven't had the opportunity. At the meet & greet, Leeb said that Conjure One supported a Delerium a year or so prior, which I found both amusing and cool (since Conjure One is a Fulber project).
I did a Bill Leeb spotlight years ago on a radio show, playing music from FLA, Noise Unit, Delerium, and Cyberaktif. Never got around to doing a Rhys Fulber spotlight show, unfortunately.
