Are you good at giving advice?

When someone (family member, friends, colleagues or even people you barely know) decide to vent with you and ask you for some advice... Would you say you are good at it? Or you would say that you are just a good listener (which can also be looked upon as something good... depending on the type of situation)?

Very do question. Sometimes because I may experience in something I can help someone else and other times they ignore my advice or ask someone else.

When I was younger, I used to be called the internet therapist, just random people all over would talk to me and have me help them. I would stay up until 4am helping several people. I would like to say I am an open-minded person, so people like to know what I think because I can see their options from both sides.
