I have two reasons why I hated math, 1, I'm dyslexic, so...goodness sakes it was terrible for me and 2. Math teachers are awful. Well, majority are, because they have been teaching the subject for so many years, they know all the answers and don't understand that if this is the first time a student is taking their class that student will not understand everything right away, so it makes it harder for new students to learn and people just give up.

I hated it because I could not understand it at all past basic math. My teachers would try and try to get me to understand geometry and trigonometry and they just could not get through. Math class was torture for me. One teacher in high school told me to drop his class or I'd ruin my GPA.
Later in life, though, I learned how to convert numbers to binary--it was long ago and I forget how to now--and it was so much fun! But I still can't grasp the concepts of higher mathmatics.
