My mother-in-law decided to take my toddler to their boss' place as her boss has a huge land near the seaside and she is working there as a cook. She thinks that bringing along my son would help me in my transition staying and working at home plus since she naturally likes kids, she wants to takw care of my son for me for the time being.
Luckily, her boss is an old lady who also likes kids so she agreed with my mother-in-law's idea. Every other week, my son would stay in their place and after a week or two, they would come home and stay here for another week.
At first I was nervous as this would be his first time to sleep over to a different place without me. I had never ask for any help to others when it comes to taking care of my kids. It has always been me and my husband who is hands on to these tasks. Besides, I am also worried about his mischiefs. He is only two years old and since he has a curious mind, he would climb, grab and punch almost everything and it might get broken if left unsupervised.
But I thought that it would also help me a lot to clear my mind, reduce stress at home and stay focus in the shop.
So I gave her expectation and let him stayed there. Then the other folks in the beach loves him, too. My son had a good vacation in that place indeed. He has been well-fed and my mother-in-law's boss always give my son lots of goodies and presents.
I've learned a lesson; seize the opportunity of someone taking care of your son without paying a nanny. And don't forget to thank their kindness. I am glad my son is back. When the boys got reunited, they played and laughed a lot until they fell asleep together.

That's true. Not all people would have the patience to take care of their grandchild. The good thing about her is that she is willing to lend me a hand in times that I really need to rest and regain my good health back from all that stress that I've got from working.
To be honest, I just came back from the hospital due to some lung condition that I've got since childhood that also got worse as I worked during the night before. My mother-in-law is definitely a considerate person indeed.
That's also one of my reasons I quit the night job and stay at home to get some rest.

Thanks. Yup, it is. The eldest is the one left with me and I have to because I am trying to guide him what he needs to do once he go schooling next year. I am hands on to him when it comes to writing and coloring activities that will help him along the way to learning.

Yes, he is. He likes the place. Even if the place doesn't have cable TV because the area itself is a province. There's the seaside where he can run his heart to and friendly neighbors which he can also play with.

He gave me a big hug when he saw me again. That hug made me sure that he is still missing me when he was away. For a two-year old, giving that hug means so much to him, too.

@Happy2BeMe Thanks! I am so happy about him, too. He grew huge! His weight became heavier which means he had eaten a lot back in the province with his granny.

That's true! I also got nervous about my mother-in-law's idea at first because she might not be allowed to take my son there and my son would need to be sent back right away. My mother-in-law's workplace is a two-hour drive and our only mode of transportation is thru buses.
Imagine if that would happened, then my kid would completely be irritable of the travel time alone.

Thanks, @sishy7. I really missed him. He is now spending the night with me right now. He is now fast asleep after playing a lot with his brother.
