Cash vs. Credit / Debit Cards: Which is the best option?

Credit / Debit cards are gaining more and more users over time, however, the printed money is still extremely used by people all over the world (it has a very strong base). Which one do you prefer and why?

I am always strapped financially. I never use credit cards because then I would not be able to pay those bills. I only have debit cards so I know how much money I can use and I have to keep track of my accounts.

I prefer to pay cash if I have enough to spare. I do not like to use my credit card much.

Cash because its available. There are places where credit cards are not accepted.
