Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Airport in Kolkata had created natural trees and plants within the airport. There is an artificial habitat created there. It is very soothing to see green plants within the airport. There are artificial water bodies created from where the plants get water. It is very novel for the airports.

I think that was a wonderful idea, planting trees and plants inside their airport building. It adds to the comfort and enjoyment of all their passengers, who are using this facility.

Yes Kharla, green is soothing for eyes. The trees give more oxygen and keep the airport clean.

@kobesbuddy Yes Kharla, for those reasons whereever I find the airport authorities planting trees, I appreciate them.In Netaji airport, the trees are planted inside the airport in an indoor environment.
