Running late again, even later than last time. Been a busy week. Hope all is well out there in Mylot land. True people who like to party know Saturday is not over until the sun comes up!
It is 9:24 PM Cali time, still very much Saturday Night here.
That being said, This song comes from the man who started Saturday Night Disco. Mr Tim Armstrong himself, in his home away from home band. "The Transplants" surprised me with how early they released this.
Was expecting a whole album of new stuff. Instead got 5 or 6 covers and 1 new song by the Transplants themselves. Have to say, that was disappointing to hear.
Other than that, thought all the covers rocked and went pretty hard in this little EP called "Take Cover." You have been warned, now it is time to take cover. Little inside joke for any who know of the band "Operation Ivy." Yes, it is a bad joke. They do not come out of my head any other way.
I also can see what I think people are missing with Rancid's latest albums. They like when Tim brings the funk. Has been pretty straight punk rock, but always has to be a collaboration with the other band members. Skin Head Rob kind of Brings the funk out in Tim.
Rancid said, "they not done yet." Transplants say, "they not coming back." I hope that is not more disappointment Hopefully, this is just some metaphoric thing.

@teamfreak16 They killed all of them and was not holding back. Really wished they would have that mindset with a whole album of their own music. I really just think Tim spreads himself to thin. Still love Skinhead Rob's line. "We will blind the world." (DJ DJ)

@crossbones27 - Awesome! I loved Minor Threat. Looks like they covered some good songs on this EP.

Yeah, I really liked all of them. Went back to their roots in style. Only problem is so short. 15 minutes maybe. Like just enough that if they made their own songs and did a whole album, would have blown the world away.
