Keeping the money in account that has no locking period and easily accessible for transaction does not defines the term 'savings' indeed. Momentarily, savings are worth if invested in appropriate plans with a matured sum in exchange. For this reason , people are earnestly looking at the market for appropriate mutual funds and stock markets. In India , real estate has seen a pitfall from the investors` viewpoint as a cause of late economic reforms aka GST and demonetization . Few people are of the opinions that short term plans can content upcoming foreseen expenses for the family but the returns are not such high.Critics tend to recommend for long term plans potent enough of creating a good wealth. Have you invested in some specific schemes , that you would like to share ?

It depends on the situation. If you are young you can go for a long-term investment but that doesn't work well when you are in the evening of your life.

I prefer short term investment most especially when its online, but if it a physical presence business I don't mind long term investment if my findings of the area of investment is satisfactory
