Horror movies that disappointed you?

The function of a horror movie is basically to scare you, however... Not all movies can do this and you are disappointed with the end result. It's so annoying when that happens. Has any horror movie ever done this to you?

I have felt this way. The Exorcist was like that, I still loved it but then I realized that it wasn't supposed to be jump scare scary. It was disturbingly scary.

Yes, some horror movies that watched were boring. But the one that really scared me was the A Nightmare on Elm Street, especially the first one.

Most of them I don't find especially scary..but the Exorcist was one that did not scare me. The other one that everyone raved about that didn't scare me was The Blair Witch Project.

The Excorcist II or the Heretic was a disappointment, so lousy I completely forgot the story unlike Exorcist I that still lingers in my mind even today.
