Laxmipuja is celebrated on the 3rd day of Deepawali by the Hindus. While Goddess Laxmi is given naibhidiya in the form of fruits and flowers, the kulo pradip is lit in front of her. It is in the shape of Kulo, which in early days were used for winnowing and embracing newly married bride in the house. Newly married bride is considered as Laxmi by Indians.
