Back to Normal

This week has been a strange and different one with the loss of my good friend, Rose.
Now that that is behind me, it's time to get back to normal. I called my daughter early this morning so I could get laundry done. She must have been out on the bay early, as she didn't call me back. I'm getting low on clothes, but have enough to last the weekend.
I'm also going to try and get my notifications caught up. I have a lot of them because I wasn't able to spend as much time here as I usually do, and they've accumulated.
So you will be seeing more of me.
I have been working on the Freedom's Cry proof, but I really need to get that completed, so I will still be absent more than usual as I get that finished and finally published, hopefully by this time next week. I'm on Chapter 12 of 55, still a long way to go with it.
Then there's the usual housework and shopping that needs to be done. The only constant in the past week has been the pool. I made it there every day this week, which is good.
Now to get to the other constants in my life.
At the visitation on Thursday, I did see a friend who owns a thrift store here, and opened my mouth to volunteer there. We'll see what happens with that. So something new might be happening in my life.
When I got home from the funeral yesterday, I did have two books sitting on my door. My proof copy of Scarred, and the third edition copy. Scarred is available on Amazon. Hopefully Freedom's Cry will be as well and the entire series will be complete, and I can get onto other books and get them ready for publication as well.
How is everything in your life? Thanks for reading.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You are so strong, and I'm glad you're slowly moving back into your normal routine. Very cool that you have books available on Amazon!

Volunteering at your friend's thrift shop sounds like it could be fun. Just don't over obligate yourself and make it a hobby. You'll also get to see the new stock before anyone else and that could be a win win for your closet too!

@ElusiveButterfly I need to go through all my clothes as it looks like I'm really losing some weight and the clothes aren't going to fit, as in being way to big for me, pretty soon. And that's a good thing.

Everything is nice. I have been out of my lot and it is time to catch up and share. God bless.

I'm glad things are getting back to normal, for you this week. We are still remodeling, which is going pretty slow.

@just4him As long as we keep warm, can bathe and fix meals, everything is fine and dandy!
