Farmers in our province are very lucky, they are given free inputs for farming like seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and now farm machineries needed for their work. Its like spoon feeding now for farmers because all their needs are being provided by the government. All they need is to farm the farm fields. I guess the government wants to uplift the lives of the farmers. Photo is mine.

It is also a way of ensuring you have enough food for the country I think. I wish it were my country.

Hello @ilocosboy They need those and probably can't afford to buy one. It's a pain in the butt when there's typhoon and then their farm lands gets destroyed, causing higher prices of veggies or crop foods in the market. They deserve all the free tools, seeds and fertilizers they need. Thank you for letting me know about this.. They deserved it. Not to mention, we need them.

I agree. If I won the lottery I would support the fishermen and farmers because we really really need them. Without them we have no food.

I hopeit works. And I hope that the government also sends people with skills to teach some farmers to farm in a modern way. In my country that was needed once.

@ilocosboy true, but we cannot deny the fact that some 'traditional politicians, or the trapos' do come out when election period is nearing.

At least we are seeing the government funds being put to good use. Unless of course, those seeds, fertilizers, and equipment are overpriced and the excess money ended up in the pockets of corrupt politicians in your province.

The good thing now is that they are giving brand new machineries, high yielding crop seeds and high quality infrastructure.
