I have noticed that young fans adore their favorite sports stars who are millionaires and are willing to donate their allowance to have their favorite sports star stay in their hometown.
Case in point is a report that Holly Hooper-Stover shared on social media her son Hopper who is 11 years of age admires Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook his allowance of $10 dollars so that Westbrook would stay with his team.
Westbrook who last month signed a five year, $250 million dollar contract to remain with the Thunder.
Oklahoma City Thunder general manager Sam Presti was impressed with the loyalty of Hooper that when he received his letter to keep Westbrook on the team, Presti sent the young man and his mom four tickets to attend the first regular season game of the Thunder as a thank you note.
When I was a kid back in Panama my heroes were the ones from Marvel and D C Comics and they are not paid a kings ransom to save the world.

That is true since the child paid for the salary of his basketball hero.
