The World Series is underway!!! I hope for a good series that's no decided on a review, and no injuries. Yes, I'm pulling for the Astros because they've never won a title before and because of what Houston went through with that hurricane earlier this year. But as long as it's a good series I can go wild for either victor. And speaking of wild, here's today's song from my list of favorite songs with "wild" in the title. @teamfreak16 is also counting down his favorites, so please read his as well. Here's today's no-big-surprise entry. #3: Child of the Wild Blue Yonder - John Hiatt Oh, wow, look, I'm using a John Hiatt song. (Read with a monotone voice.) Yeah, I know. But, as Scott says (and I concur), our favorites are our favorites for a reason, and they show up repeatedly because of how deeply their music enriches our lives. This song was inspired by Hiatt's then-two-year-old daughter. It's a full-tilt, roll down the windows and crank up the music song. It's one of my favorite Hiatt songs (it was on my top 20 Hiatt songs countdown). Child of the Wild Blue Yonder Written by John Hiatt Recorded by John Hiatt From Stolen Moments, 1990 If you see her falling:
A real favorite of mine. I do not own the rights to this.

I like it. A bit of an 80's guitar band vibe, but not, if that makes any sense at all.
