Pain makes me sleepy / myLot

Yep I did it again, bent over wrong at my moms and there goes the back. This time it is the muscles thou. Been taking it easy all day and doing the ice then heat, repeat as much as I could. I like the heat part so much better.

Now I'm just plain exhausted. Waiting for hubby then will go to bed. Watch I wont be tired then! That is what seems to happen to me. Hoping it doesn't take to long to get better. Hate this.

I got a similar back problem, my GP told me to rest it for a couple of weeks, no more gardening for the time being. It is better now, but still acted weird at times. Take care.

Yes mine has acted up off and on since I was 25 so about 27 years now. Just never know when it will happen.

@YrNemo I never did until I carried the twins. They were a lot of weight on my frame. I didn't think that it would get so bad thou.

It is just off and on, been like this since I was 25. I blame it on the twins, carrying them killed me. LOL! Just want it to pass I have so much to do.

@DesirousDreamer Hope I don't need a new mattress cant afford one! lol It is only a few years old. I think I just bent wrong and twisted it. I have used my husband back brace, I don't know how they can use it while sitting thou. lol Then again he doesn't sit for work at all. Hope it just gets better soon.

@Ithink Yeah that can do it, have you changed mattresses and such? I know a new mattress can sometimes help. And a back brace.

Pain usually stops me from sleeping. HOw does it make you sleepy? Pain killers?

No I don't take them unless I'm dying, when I'm in intense pain it just makes me tired. Like it just wears me down. Then the sitting around so much probably doesn't help.

relate to that,slip disc for seven years now....medication did not work yoga helped me a lot then made a mistake the other day,pulling and pushing heavy boxes here. comes rotator cuff such an ouch!

Yes it doesn't seem to take much at times, other times I'm fine and can do whatever and be fine. I have a frozen shoulder, so that is no fun too. I'm falling apart!
