The movie that tackled the subject of global climate change called "Geostorm" when it finishes its run in theaters worldwide could end losing up to $100 million dollars when it is no longer in theaters worldwide.
The executives at Warner Brothers Studios are not going to be pleased that the movie that cost around $120 million dollars to make which makes it the second flop next to "King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword."
"Geostorm" would have to make $300 to $350 million dollars just to break even for Warner Brothers Studios which is not likely to happen.
You know the old saying "You win some and then you lose some."

It's unusual for a movie studio to have back-to-back flops like that. Some heads will roll for sure at the studio's executive offices! But this is Warner Brothers we're talking about here. They'll bounce back!

Warner Brothers have made money of several movies this year like "Wonder Woman", "It" and others this year.

I saw a trailer for that movie... was kind of looking forward to seeing it... isn't it more so about "weather control" though? I've been sort of theorizing the use of weather control happening... way too many major "Natural" disasters happening lately, which has had me slightly suspicious... so I found that the movie seemed interesting.
Also... the loss of 100 million would probably be the equivalent of a mosquito bite to Warner Brothers in my opinion.

Why they spend so much to make a silly movie, is beyond my human understanding:(

And when there are perfectly good indie movies made one a grocery budget that don't get enough credit. As a person who is going to be working in the industry, it is funny to watch some of these studios just flopping because they are not paying attention and only wanting money.
