Good Morning...Lighting a lamp

Good morning friends. As promised I got up early in the morning. It is exactly 3.45 now. There is some fog and the weather is quite cool and the surroundings are full of silence. I just went out and picked up the earthen cups kept last night on both sides of the entrance gates.
I brought them inside and filled them with Coconut Oil. Prepared the wicks and lighted them and again kept them in their places.
Did you understand what it is? This is very auspicious for a house to light a lamp and keep at both the ends of the threshold of a house. This is very important particularly in the months from October to December 22nd.
This removes the negativity in the house and saves from the effect of an evil eye (negative attitude in the scientific terminology of the residents) on the residents.
Again lighted some sage. Exposed the corners of the house to the smoke. It actually absorbs the moisture and the bacteria lying therein. Protects our health.
There is some sound I am hearing. Perhaps my brother-in-law got up and doing some work in his house. I will verify and come back again.

I think you are onto something positive here. When I think more about this it makes sense. You seem to be familiar with the art of feng shui

Hmmmmm.. I didn't know you can do that to remove negative energy. we have candles here but we don't do that sort of thing.

No rosemary burning? I thought the smell of rosemary would be nicer than sage. How about nutmeg, cinnamon or clove? (I am genuinely curious here, hope you don't mind my question.)
