Those are all of the medical things that happened today. The physical therapist came, and when she was getting ready to leave she said that a nurse would be coming. While the PT was here, my head started to feel funny. I thought I was getting a sinus infection the other day, but -- it seems to be settling in my chest. I had told my boss yesterday that I would come in today after the PT left, but Mom changed her mind (it seemed to me) and didn't want me to go. I am feeling kind of lousy anyway, and when I called and said I didn't feel well I was told they were low on kids anyway so I really didn't need to come in. The "phone appointment" Mom was supposed to have with her doctor was later than it was supposed to be, but it happened. From my end I mostly just heard Mom talking about how lousy she felt. Not long after the phone call ended, the nurse showed up. She didn't say much, just about how Mom's position needed to be adjusted every couple of hours, and she (tried) to take a couple of blood vials -- Mom's had so much blood drawn I'm surprised she has any left. So, now it's quiet. I need to go check on Mom after I post this, when I left the living room she was sleeping. It's also nearly time to feed Angel, who I did not take for an afternoon walk, because when I looked at the thermometer on the back deck it said 100° !!!

Thank you, @Courtlynn -- I hope this new treatment plus another Mom will hopefully get will make her feel a bit better, too -- my chest cold is finally "here" so I'm taking meds. It always feels worse before I get whatever sickness I'm actually getting for me.

Well, not really -- she has lung cancer -- but hopefully future treatments will make her feel a bit better.
