Have you ever had someone speak to you as if you already knew each other (like best friends), but don't you really remember the person's name? The most you remember of the person is that you saw him / her somewhere or just exchanged a few words with them?
It's a pretty weird situation, isn't it?

Yes, always kind of awkward! I've also had that silent stare off with a person to determine if we knew each other. lol

Yes, that has happened to me and I have to keep thinking what is their name. I am better these days at faces than names.
