Zachary Levi to star in the "Shazam!" movie

Zachary Levi who starred in the sitcom called "Chuck" which ran on NBC from 2007-2012 has been selected to star in the D C E U motion picture "Shazam!".
It is interesting to learn that an actor that has starred in comedy roles get to play a role of a super hero who in my opinion is underrated compared to the D C Universe super hero Big Three which is Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.
But then again if comedian Paul Rudd can play the role of "Ant-Man" and have it a huge success, so can Levi play the role of the super hero and turn it into a success.
The "Shazam!" movie will start production in early 2018, the screenplay is being written by Henry Gayden and Darren Lemke.
The movie is being produced by Peter Safran. "Shazam" will likely be released in 2019.

The only concern I've read is his body structure compared to The Rock who will play 'Black Adam'. With the time given to Levi and with proper training and nutrition, I'm sure he can bulk up.

I'll stick with watching the movie serial and the Saturday morning live-action show (the ones where Jackson Bostwick played Captain Marvel, not John Davey, who looked way too out of shape to be "the mightiest mortal on earth").
