By the month of November, fog and mist sets in the hilly regions of Ooty in Tamil Nadu. The fog engulfs the place. The tea gardens, the lakes lack visibility. Winter is charming in Ooty, it is cool, but it is not cold. It is because although it is above 6500 feet above sea level, it is close to the equator.
