I did watch IT (the new version) on Friday. IT is based on the book by Stephen King. I listened to the book last year to get ready for this movie. The book is way scarier than the tv movie version that came out many years ago. My mother and I got in a fight of what IT is a few years ago, and when I listened to the book last year I discovered I was half right. This new movie version has Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Bill SkarsgÄrd, and Jackson Robert Scott.
Big Warning: there is some violence and some gross parts.
I was very excited about seeing this movie. But I was wondering how they could squeeze the book in two hours. I mean Stephen King is long winded. Plus I was wondering if they were going to included the part of what I was right about. I still don't know how they could put that part in a movie.
The tv movie version is in two parts. The first part of it is where Bill (being adult) is remembering his childhood. The second part the kids are adults. This new version they are just kids. And the movie is split into two parts. This new version was a little scarier than the tv movie version.
I read that the second part will be out in 2019.I hope they include the part I was right about. Next week I'm watching Minons.

Definitely a difference between the two. The new one is little scary.

Haven't watched the new IT yet. I recently saw a post on Facebook asking people what's the scariest book they've ever read. So many people said it was IT.

I have't seen the movie yet. I will soon though. I remember the original movie years ago. I liked it very much. But, you're right, the book is way better than the movie. I have many Stephen King books, I used to belong to the Stephen King Library. But I haven't gotten any of of newer books. I need to get back into them again. I might start reading some older ones again.
