The many ways you can change your sentences when composing the structure of one, is easy if you have a simple plan to work with. Plan A. The basics, keeping it simple. A man with a gun, held up a convenience store last night, leaving 2 persons dead, reporters say. Now to change up the words in the sentence differently just to make it better for you. Last night, at approximately 9:45 PM, an armed gunman, held up the 24-7 store. Two of the store's workers were shot dead, according to reports. Another thing is, to add a bit more details and keep it in context. An armed robber shot and killed 2 employees of the convenience store, 24/7, last night. The robbery took place at exactly 9:45 PM. Still the sentence doesn't give all the information needed to complete all the Who, What, When, Where, and Why and of course, How to make the story complete and informative. Plan B. adding more detail and more drama An armed robber shot and killed 2 associates of the South Grandberry 24/7 convenience store in an attempt to obtain alcoholic beverages, gas and all the cash from the register and the store's safe, making off without being identified by any witnesses, but security cameras caught the whole armed assault and robbery and investigators are running facial recognition on the man, who, based on camera images, is a man in his mid 30s, white, wearing a black hoodie, seen in the video pointing the gun and then running out the door, carrying 2 cases of Heineken and a cloth bag with all the money from the safe and the cash register. He was using a 357 Magnum, according to camera evidence of the robbery. The Rand County Police are investigating the crime scene. The two dead employees names will be announced when the investigation is complete, to protect the families of the two victims of this horrendous crime, back to you Mark. There are ways to put a sentence into a fully captivating and dramatic narrative that fully gives the viewer the blow by blow of such an occurrence and give insight on the nature of a crime, and add dramatics to it to keep the viewer watching. AS to just writing a line of sentences, it is always best to keep in mind that your basic 5 are there so the reader is not left in the dark and wondering what you are talking about. Example 2. I had visitors over for dinner last night and we had KFC and watched t.v. but the kids got into a fight over a video game and had to be sent home and the dinner visit came to an abrupt ending. You could re-write this to be more basic or add lots to it to make it more informative and dramatic. You can play with sentence creation all day and never run out of ideas. Remember to include, the Topic, that is, what the central theme of the post is about. Then The subject, as to what or who is involved in the topic and how something or someone related to the topic is connected with the events within the discussion. You can make it brief and to the point, or you can make it long and drawn out. The basic 5 is all about the elements of a post or a sentence that initiates the discussion, starting with I, meaning from your point of view as you are giving details of something that you are thinking about or wanting to convey in the discussion, or it can be about something or someone else, like, That president is so full o fhimself that I can't stand watching him carry on day after day. OR I was watching a news report about that Congressman who was put up on charges by the State department's head of financial affairs, and he denies any wrong doing, in spite of recent Tweets to the contrary. The way we write can make or BREAK it, even before the discussion even gets off the ground. Have a good day and enjoy your time here at the best lot on planet earth, myLot.
