When it rains it pours.... / myLot

It seems to me that when it rains, it pours for me. I have had the worst luck pretty much all year long. And it just keeps getting worse and worse. I try so hard to stay positive and upbeat but it just seems like anything and everything that can go wrong do. Medical issues for me and my family, huge car expenses on two vehicles, hit a deer with another vehicle, hearing some devastating news twice about something that you love, and more. I just do not know how much more I can take. I would think that since everything that could go wrong this year is, then next year and several years after it should be smooth sailing. I guess time will only tell.

For me this year is being one of the hardest of my life and I have had at least four other very tough years too but this one is non stop of things going wrong one after the other but never giving me any peace on all levels. Wishing for you a much better end to the year and a brand new start to the other New Year coming up and hoping its a brilliant one for all of us. I will raise an imaginary glass of champas to that and see how it all comes out.

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble as well. I really thought that 2017 was going to be a good year when it first started out. Guess I counted my chickens before they hatched.

@angie828 I thought it was going to be so much better also but I am still trying to be as posiive as I can but things seem to get worse instead of better. I don´t know what I am doing wrong. I have counted too many chicken as well before they were even hatched. Never mind I am still thinking of that glass of champas (glass of bubbly).

If you can feel all that, congratulations, you have a beautiful life. What is life without pain? Lifeless. Boring. It is the problems that keep us alive finding for solutions. Sometimes, we feel suffocated, up to the neck, and all forlorn, claiming luck is not on our side. But no, it has nothing to do with luck. It is life happening. At its best. Remember, when there is sorrow, there will be joy, when there is ugliness, beauty emerges, when there is sadness, there will be happiness. Hope springs eternal. Tomorrow will be a beautiful day.
