Shantiniketan was developed by Rabindranath Tagore because he found the place poetic with clear sky, green rice fields and water bodies. Raktakarabi resort is created with a countryside look so that visitors can find hens, birds, ponds, trees and nature right in front of them. The natural beauty soothens the minds of people.

Thanks Anthony, I live in Kolkata which is urbanized place full of buildings and vehicles. So when I went to Shantiniketan I could come close to nature, with blue sky, green rice fields.
