Have anyone ever experienced something called sleep paralysis? Sleep paralysis is when on experince not being able to move while being in the state of sleep and being awake. The body is unable to move, and most people hear and see things while in this state of paralysis. I myself experience it often.

I do too. Sometimes I have a lot of problems with it sometimes not. It was pretty severe when I was pregnant probably because of my hormones being out of whack. I also had some episodes this morning that were pretty bad. I do have the audio and visual hallucinations. I wake in a state of terror from these and it takes a while before I can calm myself and not feel so freakin scared.

It is in fact a scary thing. For many years I thought it was a ghost holding me down or an evil spirit. I could never talk or move when it happened to me. It just felt like someone was laying right over me holding me down and my voice was gone. But I never heard anything funny. I just swore it was evil. I later found out that it was just sleep paralysis. I'm not being haunted. WHOO! LOL! Anyway, It has happened to me about 3 times and my last one I had was 4 years ago. Here you go, more information on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis

I HAVE HAD THIS EXPERIENCE AND IT IS SCARY. It happens when we are sleeping straight-and the hand is on or near the heart. This affects the blood supply and we feel paralised. So it is gud to sleep sideways.
