Can A Female Join Boys Scout?

Yes, said so by provincial scout master we just interviewed.
He explained everyone have the right to join boy scout as long as they want too. In fact there have been female joined boys scout and attended camping and jamborette.
But when asked if a male can join girls scout, he was silenced and said cannot answer it.

I think they should retain the old practice of accepting boys for boy scouts and girl for girl scouts.

that should be the case, that practice should be observed and not girls going to boys scouts and boys going to girls scout.

It should be equal but in some places they have certain rules and we have to follow it.
