I didn't know it existed!

I was telling my mam today that when I press my ear, my tragus to be exact, it hurts as though there might be a painful spot inside my ear or something, but I can't feel anything when I try to find it.
She then said that it might be an outer ear infection and that my aunty's got one - I knew my aunty had been to the doctor for antibiotics for an ear infection last week, but I assumed it was an inner ear infection because I've never heard of an outer ear infection before
Apparently for this you just get an antibiotic spray rather than tablets/capsules.
I can't stop pressing it, it's like when you have a bruise and have to keep poking it...
For those who don't know, the tragus is the bit that's pierced in the photo. That's the only reason I know what it's called
It's the other ear that hurts, though, so it's not a piercing that's causing it.
PS ever tried to take a photo of your ear? I feel like I deserve a medal

Is there a bump or lump where it hurts? I sometimes get swelling in the outer part of my ear, but it's usually near where I have a piercing.

No there's nothi I can feel, although the painful part sort of feels like it's deep inside the cartilage rather than on the skin... I suppose I'll have to see if I can get seen at doctors tomorrow. I just hate having to wait around in there

@LilyBeBack My parents and sister run to the doctor constantly I rarely go except once a month for my antidepressant refills. I wish I didn’t even have to go then!

I was thinking that but I automatically decided to go to doctors because my mam told me to
I'll leave it for a few days and see what happens

Yeah me neither, I hope it's not that because I can't be bothered to go messing about waiting around at doctors
