A Black Labrador Retriever who is 12 years of age named JR has been retired as a bomb sniffing dog for the Tucson Police Department this past September.
JR was born in 2005 started his career as a K 9 bomb sniffing dog in a duck hunting retrieval program before JR was trained to sniff out bombs at a school in Wisconsin.

JR has well earned his keep, as a well trained canine, sniffing out bombs. It's time for him to retire and lead a restful, beautiful life, with Officer Bob McKusker.
