The Himalayan ranges in Northern and North Eastern part of India are amazing. The Durpin and Deolo hills in Kalimpong are amazing. The setting sun casts its shadow on the valleys in between the hills of Durpin and Deolo. It is very romantic experience to see the sky on a clear evening and witness the sunset from the two hills.

I have been to Darjeeling. To watch sunrise/sunset from Darjeeling gives an amazing feeling.

Thanks DPKji. Yes I also saw sunrise from Tiger Hill in Darjeeling. It is also amazing. Visitors have to lucky because sometimes clouds cover the sun.

@sathviksouvik Yes, cloud cover pose a lot of problem, one has to be lucky to witness the sunrise/sunset.
