Talk or Type?

When you have to talk to someone on your smartphone, do you prefer to speak by voice or type in some app or even send an SMS? What is more convenient and effective for you?

I have more time to think before I type, so I prefer typing. I'm not into voice messages either, it feels awkward to speak and then hear my own voice. Texts can be saved and used as a proof against someone, but calls can be recorded, so the level of safety and privacy is pretty similar. If I got a long story to tell, I may decide to call or send a voice message, but most of the time I stick to a long written message nobody is going to read anyway.

I am not good at my smartphone with typing so I prefer to talk to people instead of typing something or answering SmS.

Type. It is easier and I can always end the conversation whenever I want to with no weird or awkwardness.
