Do you like to drink whisky?

Today, at the supermarket I could hear a sir (between 55 and 60 years) talking to a friend about the passion he has over whiskey. The way that he talked, it sounds like a surreal (in a good way, obviously) thing to drink.
Well... I have never tasted whisky (but judging only by smell is a very heavy drink). What do you think of it? If you like, what is your favorite brand?

I'm underage and I don't drink illegally, nor do I think I'll want to start when I become of age. Just don't want to start something that could be addicting and one more thing to worry about. So, I've never been a 'fan' of whiskey nor do I plan on trying it.

Nope. Not in my blood. Perhaps the Irish. They seem to like one sip too many,
