Maybe, but ... On Second Thought, maybe not.

Have you ever had to make a decision on the fly? I have. Making a decision when you are being in such a hurry that you sometimes have to stop and think, 'ON SECOND THOUGHT, MAYBE NOT." - But you feel pressed for time, a sense of URGENCY or pressure from OTHERS to hurry up and get going already. When time is not on your side, and you are faced with a deadline, or a moment of split second decision making, like a real emergency or just a moment of indecision to buy something on an IMPULSE. Using basic instinct or a GUT FEELING - I sometimes have to PAUSE a moment and think about it, before deciding to do one thing or the other. Even when I am in conversation and I think first, that MAYBE IF I AGREE there will be a smooth recovery. BUT, If I tell it like it is, from my own GUT feelings, I might start an argument. When something you feel in your heart of hearts, or in your GUT INSTINCT, maybe it's best to think twice before acting on a BAD DECISION. Have you been in the middle of a group of people and get a certain feeling that THINGS DON'T SEEM RIGHT, but I can't put my finger on it. We have intuitions, expectations, that in general rule our actions and our thinking. But, every now and then, our GUT tells us, the situation may turn vilatile, and maybe I am just not in the mood to argue, so you tell yourself to compose your attitude to a cool breeze sort of, and just remain quiet and just let the storm of the impending argument smooth out and die before you even get yourself caught up in the whirl-wind of the moment. Often I think about things that are deep inside, making me think or act COUNTER INTUITIVE towards a situation. This is what happens with everyone. WHEN you are acting against your best intuition when your GUT tells you to get out of things, find a back door to go through, to remove yourself from some kind of situation that is causing you to get a sick gut feeling. Man, I know so many times If there had been a back door to make my exit from a bad situation, I would have done it in a jack spat second, in hind sight, in retrospect. Maybe it is better to follow your own instincts, to follow your GUT FEELING before making a decision about things that are presented to you as a basic challenge ahead of you, be it as simple as turning a page in a book or getting up and taking a very long walk from things that make you feel like, YOU ARE IN THE WRONG PLACE AT THE WRONG TIME.

Yea, me too. cause I can get a sick feeling in my stomach if I know I am in a sorry situation and want to hurry up and get out of it as fast as I can but being stuck in one can make me get a real doozy of a gut sensation.

@lovinangelsinstead21 , no worse than any other sounds like you pretty well expect the same today. I hope you have a better day today. It can happen. good things come to those who wait. I bet your luck will turn around for you soon. I hope so at least.

I've never been a very aware person, but I'm learning to listen to that little nudge inside.

Yea, go with your gut. It is there for a reason, not just for burgers and fries.

I try to reason out my decisions but then gut feeling also plays a part when pressed for time. Some involve damage control but I make sure my intentions are sincere and not selfish - siva
