myLot has lifted up my spirits

I've only been here for like 24 hours or so but being able to express myself without the fear of being judged or being laughed at has already lifted my spirits! I can't really post anything that reveals my emotions on Facebook, on Twitter I can but no one responds so it makes me feel more alone.
I'll be coming here more often from now on!!! It has been great interacting with you all, now I have more strength in facing my day than I had for months...and it's great that I'm also earning on the side for being able to express myself!

@marapplestiffy i totally understand. There are always going to be people who do not agree, this is the internet so everyone has an opinion. but most of us here, we have each other's backs.

I did earn here before but I just really had so much in my plate that I had forgotten about logging back here...my wedding, my job, my friends weddings which I helped organize, my planned pregnancy where I was made to sleep really early, just al lot! hehehe, and when I was bursting to just let out my emotion I remembered this site and I was so happy to have remembered my login details too...

well, I guess we cannot avoid those kind of people but so far I’ve interacted with amazing people, if there are, then it would be very easy to just not respond to them because we don’t really see each other in person...hehe, it’s different when someone is really in front of you being just a personification of a headache!

This place is wonderful like that isn't it? Glad you have felt like home here. The people here are really nice and it is easy to talk. I feel the same way about Facebook, not sure why this place is so different but it is and yep bonus we get paid for getting to know each other.

I guess we have no preconceived notions of each others personalities here that we’re able to interact without judgment...no one here would say “really, but you’re a strong person from a happy family why do you feel that way?”
It’s how I see it...

I hope all your future interactions will be pleasant. It is interesting about your experience on Facebook and Twitter. Did you find other things perhaps trivia or silly things would get responses or everything you wrote? I have little experience with both sites.

Welcome, and glad that you are having a good time. Just a bit of caution though, there will be always those kind of people who will judge us. They are everywhere, especially online. But do not let this disappoint you or prevent you from having a good experience here. As far as I know, the good ones on here far outnumber any not so good ones. Just brush it off and continue on. I would like to think that most people here are more mature and can actually carry conversations and know that it is okay to have opposing opinions without being argumentative.

thanks for the advice! it’s easier to brush them off if you just meet them online though than if you really know the person in real life, or actually considered that person to be a friend...

yes, no one would judge our posts to be trash or nonsense, if they do though no one really bothers to comment...unlike in Facebook where if you post something negative your family and friends will all wonder why and worse their are people you think are friends but actually backstabs you...
