Tamarind (sampalok)

I have eaten it. It is really healthy.

I have never haf it or even seen it before. What is it like?

I think I may have seen this but I am not sure whether I tried it before. Perhaps I did but it didn't leave me a deep impression. I think its taste is so so.

This is a favorite of mine. I like the ones that are from Bangkok, the spicy variety.

It reminds me of fingers. Lol. What do you cook it with?

I have never tried it, but would love to taste it.

It's been long time i did not taste tamrind. Yes of course i like it

I remember eating sampalok candy when I was little. It just has the right sweet, sour and salty tastes. Sometimes we can get the spicy variety. It's been a while since I had one of those. But I don't like mixing it fresh in sinigang. It's weird I know but for some reason I prefer the mix that we can get from the packets.

I remember it from my homeland - very tart. We made tamarind balls with it.

We add it in curries.

It tastes amazing and I remember back in school, my friends use to smuggle them and they were used to eat them during classes. it was fun and a sweet memory with tamarind. In india, it is called "Imli". From North to south to east and west whole India use it in their cuisines in different way.

I haven't tried it yet, but I would like to.

I eat them alot. I sprinkle them with sugar first. Love them
