Since the live version of "Beauty And The Beast" was a successful movie in the box office worldwide this year, director Sam Mendes who is line to first direct the live action movie before he was set to direct Pinocchio. Mendes did not give a reason why he decided to leave the Pinocchio movie project that was written by Rogue One writer Chris Weitz. Disney studios are currently going to make some of the animated movies like "Lion King", "Aladdin" and "Dumbo" to live action movies. I guess Disney Studios do not have any ideas to make new and original characters these days. I wonder why?

I guess Disney Studios knows that the classic stories can still sell in the theaters today by making them live action shows.
