Impressive business cards

What are some tips for getting professional looking business cards? Some that will be remember by the recipient.
Recently I got one and tried to tear it apart (at home, not in front of the person). And surprise, it couldn't be teared apart! It was from a special material that would not let you destroy it easily. It was a kind of plastic that looked like paper.

Nowadays people are using fiber cards with names embossed in Golden color.
