Do eggs go bad?

The eggs in my fridge expired 2 days ago. Are they still good to cook? Can i eat them?

Eggs will last at least a week past their freshness date.

Put them in enough water to cover them completely. If they float on end then throw them out. If they lay on their side, then they are still fine to eat.

k thank you...everyone says no so i guess i wont eat them. i dont like eggs they are actually for my brother in law. Our lanlord gave them to us said they were still good.

if it is only two days that is ok, its just a suggested date i wouldnt go past 4 5 days though.

No do not cook them, throw them out when they expire you'll get food poisiong.

Yes eggs do go bad. take one of the eggs, fill up a cup of water put the egg in it and if the egg floats, its bad.

I usually stilluse eggs even after the expiration date as long as it stay in the refrigerator and when you open it don't smell...you're going to cook it anyway.
