I am writing a short story and I will put it up on Amazon and I hope for great reviews. I am going to be doing this for the first time in a few months and I know that my first book might not be what everyone expects but if I don't get good reviews I will keep writing until everything falls into place.
I know writers that I have talked to and told to keep writing because they were not getting people to buy their book but they had it on an app for free. Besides that, they were getting great reviews so all they had to do was write a new book and sell it because no one is going to purchase a book that they have already read for free at times. I was glad that this author decided to keep writing and now I am reading another book from this author on a site called wattpad which is also an app.
I want people to know that they should never give up because of a few bad reviews or because of a few undersells because in the end everything will work out and people will know who you are and then you can rise above from that. One thing about America is that we love a comeback story.
Indie authors will not sell books like someone on the NY best sellers list in my opinion but they can get their name out there just like I am going to do with my books and my blogs.
