It's a busy day, getting home late from Owensboro last night, and leaving for Nashville in an hour, but that doesn't mean I can't insult and assault you with some more bubblegum music. These are ten songs -- note I'm not using terms like "great" or "favorites" -- that are tolerable from that syrupy world. Here's today's song.
#5: Little Woman - Bobby Sherman
This was the era of teenybopper actors/singers. Bobby Sherman had a string of hits and an acting career. He was best known for the series Here Come the Brides, which also featured David Soul (who later on went to the top of the charts with a song while as the star of Starsky and Hutch). Sherman did the theme to the series, a song called "Seattle" (Perry Como did the song originally in the first season) and had a string of pop singles during the run of the show.
Of all his hits, this is my favorite. Not that I paid that much attention to him to begin with, but this is fun and catchy enough to get stuck in your head for a play or two.

Oh admit it, you were clutching a copy of Tiger Beat with dreamy Bobby on the cover when you wrote this lol!!! He left show business very early on and became a paramedic here. Probably retired now.

Later a policeman! He's 74, so he's retired. Who wants a paramedic wheezing as much as the patient?

@FourWalls 74? Yikes! But then again my own age frightens me. I actually watched Here Come the Brides. BTW, it was just on TV right now it is Gordon Lightfoot's 79th brithday.

I fell in love with Bobby when he was on Here Come the Brides and loved him singing the theme song. Even though my teen idol was David Cassidy I still enjoyed most of Bobby's songs and loved his singing style. Checked out some things and it is remarkable that he is a young 74 years old now what I cannot get over is take a look at this photo of him.
