Unique Party Themes?

If you are low on cash, throwing a party is not impossible. I thought about what would be neat and affordable. Then, I jotted these down... baked potato bar book swap clothing swap coffee bar potluck mocktails pajama party ethnic party coupon swap beach party What frugal party themes can you think of that would not be a bore?

I have few friends, and the ones I had mostly had similar preferences. Last month, we hold a small gathering. Nothing fancy, I just bring out a jar of Coke to the small table at my lawn. My friends brought some snacks themselves. We decided to show-off our plants, as well as exchanging seedlings and cuttings. We share, and gained more in return. Hope that helps.
