I love mathematics and situations that requires problem solving and analyzing skills. Sometimes I wonder why other people do hate them? Is it because they don't know about it? Or do I have this autistic view having a world of my own that can see numbers as delicious food while others can't?

Not for you, I would not say it is. You might have a love of it and a skill pertaining to it, but that has nothing to do with Autism.

Yup. I'm just curious though. I remember when I'm in high school that I find difficult socializing with them and ended up joining math club.

@JolietJake Yup, I agree. I'm an introvert.

@gibocam But by joining math club you were socializing with the other people in it. That sounds more like typical high-school where not everyone fits in to every crowd. I was pretty much a loner because I didn't 'fit in' with any group, so I spent most of my time devoted to listening to music by myself, and developing a severe love/addiction to it, but that doesn't make it autistic behavior.

I think science and math can be fun but then so can social studies and everyday living? I understand what you are getting at.

@gibocam I don't know a lot about autism. There is a new television series called the Good Doctor a story about a boy with autism went on to use his analytical mind to become a doctor. I hope the writers continue to show some insight into his way of thinking. I think being analytical is not a bad thing if it can be used correctly.

@Bluedoll Yes you have a point. Being too analytical in everything is like a sickness. But not authistic still.

Yup. Every person has their own interest. That would answer my question about autism. Self explanatory.

It depends on what? Mood? Situation? Or the person?

@m_audrey6788 Haha... What if you're an accountant and need to deal with math problems everyday? Do you need to be in the mood everyday?
