Favorite Side Projects #7 - The Creatures

If you think about it, there are a lot of musical side projects that have been formed over the years. I am counting down my favorite side projects, and we are at #7: The Creatures.
Formed in 1981, The Creatures were a project by Siouxsie and the Banshees vocalist Siouxsie Sioux and Banshees drummer Budgie (the two of whom were also married at the time.)
The Creatures utilized various influences, including Flamenco, blues, jazz, and Japanese music.
The Creatures released four studio albums and eight singles between 1983 to 2005.
I have linked to the offical video of "Standing There," which received quite a bit of play on MTV's 120 Minutes. I hope you enjoy it!

Yeah, that’s different from the main group. Almost sounds like the opening of the Pink Panther theme at the beginning.

I just listened to it. It had 40 comments, so I added my own. I liked the drum beats and funny thing, I should know that group but somehow missed them. Thanks for bringing this group to light so now I can add this to my song list.
