David Cassidy who gained fame for his role as Keith Partridge in the television show "The Partridge Family" that was on the American Broadcasting Company from 1970-1974 has passed away on Tuesday evening in a hospital in Florida of organ failure. Cassidy, 67, was the son of the late Jack Cassidy and the late Evelyn Ward when he was born 1950 in New York. On the television show "The Partridge Family" he was the lead singer of the group along with his stepmom Shirley Jones. Cassidy was a teen age pop idol who could really sing some great tunes like "I Think I Love You." which made his female fans happy with joy to admire their favorite artist. One of the funniest stories of the life of the late David Cassidy is that outside the home of his stepmom Shirley Jones, there was a sign outside her home that read "No Fans Please." Shirley said interviews the reason she put the sign outside of her home was not because she was a snob or hated her fans. Shirley placed the sign outside her home since David in real life did not love with her after the show ended its run on television. Rest in peace David. You went the distance in life. Your music will live on for a very long time.
