Bogus Clients

I got victimized by a bogus client trying to posed as if she was a legitimate person who wants to avail of our services. It was really frustrating because I have already worked on her order and all. I was ready to send her order along with the other customers who ordered to me. Good thing I did not sent her order yet. I decided to wait for her payment confirmation but it seems to take so long so I sent the other orders first and tried to contact her. She was not responding and her phone just keep on ringing. Since there are a lot of people in line for the delivery, I just decided to hold on to the item and just wait for her to respond. I was already back home and several days passed, I never heard of her anymore. I was very annoyed by these type of people who are just tripping with online sellers like myself. I hope that there will be a cyber law as well to stop this thing from happening.

I was once an Online seller on Facebook, and I still have my page. I always get this kind of buyer. And I still never learn. But the good thing, I have loyal customers.

It's really frustrating to deal with those kinds of people. But the good thing is I never shipped an item without a payment proof.

@cherriefic Me too, I don't ship orders outside Davao City if not in full payment.

It is and I can't really understand why they have to trip on people.

I don't know what do they get from doing that? Such an irresponsible act.

@cherriefic I do agree on that. They are all inconsiderate, too.

That can be very unpleasant. Good that she went away otherwise you could get into trouble. There should be a way to check out the real clients from the fake.

I think it's just intuition that saved my goods.

That's so stressful. I used to do home child care services. So many people wasted my time and didn't pay me for my services. It was upsetting so I no longer do it.

Yeah it is. Especially if you are in between orders and one rotten person will be added to the stress of your day.

Good thing you didn't send out her order. Best thing to do is to post her details and screen shots of your conversations so other online sellers won't be victimized by this person. Bogus buyers are a pain in the behind!

People who do that should be held accountable.

I wish it will be included in the cyberlaw so we can file a complaint against these kind of people.
