Ashitaba or not?

I'm glad to see this little fellow (the one in the pot at the center) has grown back its leaves as sometime ago the snails nibbled away the poor plant leaving it almost bald.
I know this is an Ashitaba plant as our neighbors also knew it to be. The one who gave it to us also said it was an Ashitaba. But I was confused to see another plant that looks quite the same with the name Gynura Procumbens.
Now I'm not sure if its an Ashitaba or Gynura.
Anyways, I read on the web that both has medicinal value but Ashitaba has much stronger healing properties and that the plants do look similar to each other.
I have tried eating the leaves of this plant raw but I've only tried it a few times so I can't say much of its effects on me.
Anyone of you familiar with this plant?
How about Ashitaba? Have you heard of it or tried it?

@pitsipeahie Very smart snails! They didn't just choose any random plant to munch on!

Yes, thankfully it has grown back. Not to mention neighbors who keep asking for its leaves. You don't know how many snails I found feasting on it. I got tired of throwing the snails in the grassy, vacant lot nearby. What healthy snails! munching on medicinal plant leaves!

Yes, it has grown back most of its leaves and we transferred it. Not so sure if its Ashitaba though.
