Statue of former boxer Evander Holyfield

Former cruiser weight and heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield or as he is nicknamed "The Real Deal" is having a statue of himself being sculpted by Brian Hanlon. Even though Holyfield was born in Atmore Alabama, he was raised in Atlanta Georgia where he represented the U S in the 1984 Summer Olympic Games where won a bronze medal in boxing. Holyfield's professional boxing career lasted from 1984-2014 when he retired from boxing to promote boxing matches. The statue will be unveiled will be located at the Fairiron Building in downtown Atlanta.
