How can we stop people from taking advantage of us / myLot

I have seen many times some people take advantage of others for their good behavior, especially if person is of soft nature. Some people make mistakes and put the blame of it to this person. Some others are there who borrow things from people and never return it back at all, thinking that if it was not returned back also, the other person would never ask or create a problem of it. Is being a soft - nature person , not a good thing?

the best thing is the learn how to say the word, "no" learn that if they are truly someone that deserves to be in your life, they won't mind, even if they get upset they won't blame you and they will get over it. If people get mad because you say no to something you do not like, they are not someone you should have in your life.

I think also it is better to say no. I think if we speak to such people rudely also ,it is okay,because they deserve it. Moreover they will note the point that we have started reacting to their tantrums.

Nothing's wrong with being a gentle and kind person but there's a limit to everything. The best way is learn to say "no" without feeling guilty about it. Not easy but you'll get used to it.

Yes, I have to get used to tell a 'no'. It is not easy to do ,but I have to practice to stop the exploitation.

Being good and kindhearted is possibly seen as a weakness by some and they will take advantage when the opportunity comes along. I have found myself in this position then become anxious and fretful worrying about it.

Very true,people take advantage of being soft- heart. People take too much advantage of it. So I think we should change ourselves and be a bit tough so people will not play games with us . They think being soft - heart is the weakness of the person.

Yes I am that way. I have had some hard times just telling someone no way but I have managed to do it and then felt bad for awhile.

I feel it is very important to react back or people will take undue advantage of us which should not be encouraged. I don't like taking advantage of others, neither others taking advantage of me.
