The Cyclone Ockhi brought heavy rains

The Cyclone Ockhi has brought heavy rains in the state of Kerala.The rescue operations are in full swing. The Navy is making maximum effort to rescue fishermen from the sea which is rough on account of the Cyclone. So far, about 150 fishermen have been rescued. Though the National Disaster Management Dept. has been warning the fishermen well in advance of the onslaught of Ockhi some fishermen took it light and did not head to the warning. Many of them are admitted to hospitals and the efforts are also on to lift as many deploying Helicopters. Even in the State of Tamilnadu also there were some 59 casualties reported due to severe rains.
