What was Jesus's "crowning accomplishment" (in 'overcoming the world')? Leaving! I'm trying to 'be a good Disciple,' http://nextgenalpha.blogspot.com/2017/11/shepherdschapel-copelandnetwork-heed.html but I worry that I might mistake 'leaving this world' for "helping to build it for the glory of God." Over-&-over, I hear these Gospel-music songs "thanking Jesus for His help through life's struggles"; and I ask 'How exactly did Jesus help you any more than any other long-gone historical figure or -other fictional character (neither of which--BTW--I'm affirming that Jesus was/is)?"
